Meet Heather Stewart!
Heather was the first graduate from our Sports Resi-dency Program in 2014. After her graduation, Heather accepted a position as a staff physical thera-pist at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) in the Sports Medicine Department where she works with athletes from 10-21 years of age. In addition to her duties at CHOP, she is entering her third year as the team Physical Therapist for the USA Women’s Sled Hockey Team.
“The mentorship and experiences I had throughout the course of my res-idency at Premier were invaluable. I would not be the clinician I am today, had it not been for the wonderful body of knowledge I gained at Premier. I would rec-ommend this residency program without reservation to anyone who wishes to pursue a career in the sports medicine field”
Since her graduation, Heather has continued to give back to the pro-fession. Pictured here at APTA CSM 2019 Conference presenting a poster on Patient reported outcome measures in the pediatric sports population.
