Patrick Carter PT, DPT, SCS

Staff Physical Therapist

Patrick is a native to the Washington, D.C. metro area and graduated from the University of Delaware with his Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science in 2014. He stayed at the University to pursue his Master’s of Clinical Anatomy and Health Sciences and his Doctor of Physical Therapy degrees. After graduating in 2016, he went home to Maryland to begin his career in an outpatient sports and orthopedics clinic. In 2019, he returned to the University of Delaware to complete a Sports Physical Therapy Residency.

Patrick has worked with people of all ages and fitness levels including high school, college and professional athletes. Patrick’s training has been tailored to the management of orthopedic and sport related injuries to include post-operative care, joint replacements, tendinopathies and post-concussion management among other ailments. Patrick is passionate about providing excellent evidence-based care for efficient recovery as well as educating his patients on how to stay healthy long term.

Patrick enjoys spending his free time with his wife and with his dog, hiking/being outdoors, CrossFitting and playing disc golf.
