Staff Physical Therapist
Jen Byrnes graduated from the University of Delaware with a Bachelors Degree in Exercise Science and a minor in Strength and Conditioning in 2014. She then remained at the University of Delaware to earn her Doctorate in Physical Therapy Degree in 2016. The University of Delaware is currently rated first in the nation by U.S. News & World Report’s “America’s Best Graduate Schools.” During her time at University of Delaware, Jen worked as a research assistant studying the latest treatment techniques for adults post-stroke.
Following graduation, Jen began her career in outpatient orthopedics. She is an APTA certified clinical instructor and enjoys the opportunity to mentor physical therapy students as they prepare to become licensed clinicians.
A native of Kennett Square, PA, Jen grew up spending her summers at the Delaware beaches. She is excited to be making Lewes her year-round home! In her free time, Jen enjoys spending time with her friends, going to concerts, hiking, and of course, going to the beach.
