Andréa Barajas-Kolodgie, PT, DPT

Staff Physical Therapist

Andréa Barajas-Kolodgie is a staff physical therapist at Premier Physical Therapy and Sports Performance. She graduated from the University of Delaware, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Behavior Sciences, concentrating in Fitness Management and a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Widener University.

Prior to physical therapy school, Andréa was the general manager of a fitness facility in Wilmington, DE where she realized the importance and benefits of physical therapy, prompting her to pursue her doctorate degree. During her time at Widener University, she served on the board for the student run pro bono clinic, Chester Community Clinic, providing therapy services and was heavily involved in the operations aspect of the clinic. She also gave back to the community by volunteering at health fairs, providing screening and education at local assisted living facilities, and in local schools.

Andréa is eager to begin her career with Premier Physical Therapy and Sports Performance, where she has a passion for helping others achieve their health, wellness, and recreational goals. She takes pride in her drive to advance her skills and has goals of pursuing orthopedic and sport specialties.

Andréa, originally from New Jersey, is happy to call Delaware home where she lives with her husband, Michael, and boxer, Remy. She enjoys spending time with friends and family, staying physically active, traveling, and spending her summer weekends down in Fenwick Island, DE.
