Caesar Rodney High School
Casey Avello currently serves as a Certified Athletic Trainer at Caesar Rodney High School. Casey obtained both a Bachelor of Science Degree in Exercise Science in 2022 from Eastern University and a Master of Science Degree in Athletic Training in 2024 from West Chester University. During her time as a graduate student, she was able to gain a wide variety of experience through her clinical rotations with West Chester University Field Hockey, Westtown School Athletics, West Chester Gymnastics, Philadelphia Union Minor Team, and Harvard University Football.
After graduation, Casey worked at Premier Orthopedics in West Chester, PA as a Certified Athletic Trainer alongside some of the top orthopedic surgeons in the Greater Philadelphia area. She gained much experience from the clinical aspect of healthcare, specifically with post-operative care, injury maintenance, and prevention. Casey's passion for athletic training blossomed during her time as a 4 year collegiate athlete at Eastern University on the Women's Soccer team. She is dedicated to making sure every athlete is well taken care of, respected, and above all else, treated as a human being, with kindness and understanding. Casey resides in Kennett Square, PA, and graduated from Wilmington Christian High School in 2018, where she played on the girls field hockey and soccer teams. Outside of athletic training, Casey is a devout follower of Christ who aims to spread the Gospel to everybody. She is a member of her church's missions team and communications team. She also enjoys working out, reading, and spending time outside with nature!
