Erin Mitten PT, DPT

Staff Physical Therapist

Erin Mitten is a staff physical therapist at Premier Physical Therapy and Sports Performance. Erin holds a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science, and a Doctorate of Physical Therapy - both from University of Delaware's second ranked graduate school of physical therapy as rated in the U.S. News & World Report's "America's Best Graduate Schools." Fueled by absolute joy and sharing in her patients' progress, Erin's biggest passion lies within her dedication to her orthopedic and sports patients. Erin is currently working toward her goal of board certification as an Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist as recognized by the American Physical Therapy Association and as a certified clinical instructor with the ultimate goal of supervising physical therapy students as they prepare to become orthopaedic speacialists.

Erin's passion for sports therapy originates with her passion for athletics. Erin played soccer with many traveling soccer programs including Central Delaware Soccer Association, Kirkwood Soccer Club, Delaware Saengerbund, the Olympic Development Team and Dover High School's varsity soccer team. Her soccer career spanned 14 years. She was on Dover's varsity team from freshman year to graduation. Parents David and Sandra Mitten cheered for her the entire way.

Erin is proud to continue to serve her community as a true native Doverian, as many generations of Mittens have done before her. She currently lives in Dover where she enjoys spending time with her family and staying active with sports. But for Erin, it doesn't get much better than walking her chocolate lab, Molly, in the many parks and on the beaches throughout the state.
